10 Inside Secrets to Google Adwords – Part 1

Let’s face it, Credit Repair , Google Adwords is not the only source of
traffic on the internet, nor is it free. However, if you cannot
convert the traffic you get from the pay-per-click traffic on
Google Adwords, your site surely won’t convert the casual
visitor who may or may not be ready to buy what your are selling.

When spending money for pay-per-click (PPC) traffic, whether it
is from Google Adwords, Overture, or a 2nd-tier PPC network, the
key is to track your traffic to see if it converts into sales.
There are many software products and online services that can
track your traffic. For a recommendation, visit:

http://www.superiormarketingpartners.com/adtracking.html

Many people that have tried Google Adwords have lost their
shirt, so to speak. Some keywords on Google Adwords are cheap
(keyword phrases start at a nickel per click). Some keyword
phrases on Google Adwords can cost tens of dollars per click. If
you end up paying high per-click prices on Google Adwords and
don’t sell a high-ticket item on your site, even the most
enviable sales conversion rate won’t turn a profit.

There are several tricks to advertising on Google Adwords that
unless you know them, it becomes almost impossible to turn a
profit on your advertising.

Secret #1 – Only bid on exact match keywords

Google Adwords has a few different ‘keyword matching options’
available. When a keyword is placed in brackets like this:
google adword, it is called an ‘exact match.’ This means that only
when someone enters that EXACT keyword phrase will your ad
appear. It might occur to you that by limiting your keyword(s)
to only exact match, you are eliminating all those people that
may be searching for the phrase “cheap widgets” or even “widget”
singular, since only the keyword “widgets” plural is an exact
match. Believe me, this is exactly what you want. Sure, it will
take extra time to create an adgroup within the Google Adwords
system for each keyword phrase you want to bid on, but you will
know with 100% certainty which keyword(s) are converting into
sales this way. If you do NOT use the exact match option in
Google Adwords, then there is absolutely no way to know which
keyword(s) are resulting in sales on your site.

Secret #2 – Bid to be in position #2 or 3

When someone searches on Google for your keyword, the first page
of search results are going to reach the most people. What you
want to do is position your ad in one of the top 3 spots. You
don’t want position #1 necessarily, because that position costs
the most and doesn’t give you much more benefit than being in
position 2 or 3. You pay less for these spots than position 1
and gain most of the benefit.

By being in one of these top spots, your ad gets a higher
‘click-thru rate’ (CTR). This is good is because the Google
Adwords system actually rewards you for having an ad with a high
CTR by charging you less per click! Google Adwords exists to
make money for Google. If they have two companies advertising
for the same keyword, and your ad pulls a 10% CTR and your
competitor’s ad for the same keyword pulls a 5% CTR, then Google
Adwords makes more money from your ad. Google Adwords rewards
you for this higher CTR by charging you less per click than your
competitor!

Secret #3 – Negatively qualify your ads

Admittedly, the problem with having an ad that has a great CTR
is that it gets a lot of clicks! Unless your traffic converts
into sales, it’s hard to turn a profit on your Google Adwords
ads. The key is to put words in the ad that DISCOURAGE people
from clicking on the ad unless they ‘pre-qualified’ to convert
to a sale. For example, if you have site that sells widgets that
cost $10.00 each, then put something in one of the lines of text
in your ad like ‘Widgets cost only $10.00.’ The only catch is
that if your ad isn’t getting a very good CTR in the first
place, then a negative qualifier is only going to reduce your
CTR.

Your next step? There are many more techniques to learn that
will increase the profitability of Google Adwords campaigns. The
above tricks will start you off towards making Google Adwords
work for you. Check back for Part 2 in this series. You can get
a complete course that covers every tip and trick you will ever
need by visiting:

Google Adwords are ads that appear around natural search listings, so that you can target customers at the very moment that they are searching for your product or service. Google adwords are an excellent method of developing quick early momentum upon launch of a website. Google Adsense and Google Adwords are two sponsored advertisement programs offered by Google. Advantages Advertise to potential customers when they are searching for your products Reach a wider audience than any other medium Google AdWords are seen by 80% of the users on the Internet Specifically target Internet users who are most likely to buy your products Target customers geographically Pay only for customers who click on your advertisements Plans and Packages.

Google is one of the most popular things out there in the Internet. Google dominates the field of search engines. According to a recent study, Google is responsible for generating more than 70% of the clicks to web pages that are searched through search engines.

Google has also devised a way to be able to put Internet marketing through a whole different level. Because of its market dominance, it has the capability to be able to set up a new pay-per-click system which aims at matching sellers and buyers. Google has developed what is not referred to as the Google Adwords.

What is Google Adwords?

Google Adwords is one of the most promising advertising opportunities that abound in the Internet arena. It is a pay-per-click system that advertises websites which have the highest bids for a certain search word or phrase.

If one would look at the window of an Internet browser and search something on the Google search engine, he will notice a section containing “sponsored links” at the right-hand side of the screen. These are the Adwords advertisements. These are websites which pay to be shown whenever a certain phrase or word is searched through Google.

Bidding

Business bid for their preferred keywords when they use the Adwords system. For example, a business that is engaged in selling laptops may opt to bid for search phrases such as “laptops for sale” “cheap notebooks” if they are applicable to their products.

Bidding in the Google Adwords system to get the prime spots is primarily based on two factors: the click-thru-rate and the amount of the bid. The amount of the bid will depend on the bidder himself. Bids can go as low as a nickel per click up to fifty dollars per click. The bidder must know how much to spend because the system charges the bidding price whenever the website is clicked through the Adwords system. Another factor is the click-thru-rate, or the rate by which people are clicking the website. Usually, the top three sites that are shown on the Adwords screen are the most popular and have the highest bids.

How to Engage in Adwords

If one is looking into using the Google Adwords system as an advertising tool, he can read the guidelines and the terms of conditions through the Google website. There are a few steps which we could tackle on how to start using Google Adwords.

The first step is account creation. Google will guide you through this process. However, there are several things that one should take into consideration when creating an account. He should take into mind the different strategies that he would want to employ right from the start in terms of the selection of key words and the combinations of these words to be able to maximize the returns from engaging in this endeavor.

He should also target the right market in terms of selecting the right language and countries which he would want his ads to appear. If one is selling products which would be of no use for citizens of other countries or if the option of exporting the products is not available, he might as well stick with his own country. He wouldn’t want to get charged by generating clicks from people who do not belong to the target market.

The creation of an Adgroup is also a basic step in using the Google Adwords system. One should be able to conceptualize and design an enticing advertisement and select the right combination of keywords.

Advertisements

Google will ask an advertiser what he would want to put in his advertisements. The advertisement should contain a title line and a body. The title line is composed of a maximum of 25 characters and the body should contain a maximum of two lines which contain 35 characters each.

The real challenge in designing advertisements for Google Adwords is to effectively attract customers and get them to click the website. A concise but striking advertisement is particularly efficient in getting the attention of the surfers.

Links

When a prospective customer clicks a website through the Google Adwords screen, a continuous set of efforts should be taken. The link in the Adword should not necessarily be the home page of a website but should be a web page wherein he can find information that is important to him. The link, perhaps, can be the “products” section of the website.

These are just some of the basic things that one must be able to digest to get a general feel of what Google Adwords is all about. One must be diligent in studying the different aspects of this system to be able to get the most out of it.

I recently bought the ebook everyone’s been talking about (called “Get Google Adwords Free”) the other day so I decided to write a review. In a nutshell it was an information packed ebook (125 PAGES) that explained how to achieve and maintain a constant #1 ranking on Google Adwords as well as how to get MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of dollars in “pay per clicks” for a cost of ZERO. Unbelievable I know (continue reading).<br />

What is even more interesting is how the author claims to have brought in over $1 MILLION DOLLARS income yearly using the “secret” in “Get Google Adwords Free”, and on top of that, an unheard of $87 MILLION DOLLARS in FREE Google Adwords advertising.

I must admit hearing bold claims like these definitely got my attention. I wanted to know what he knew about Google Adwords that I didn’t. I have wasted a lot of time and spent lot of money making Google Adwords work for me, and this guy seemed to have me beat. So after reading the sales page TWICE I bought the ebook. I reasoned that since I bought this “Get Google Adwords Free” ebook through CLICKBANK I was protected, as I knew that CLICKBANK would refund my money back if I wanted a refund with no questions asked.

With this peace of mind I was able to systematically read AND critique this man’s “secret” methods. What I discovered in “Get Google Adwords Free” was the detailed methods to achieve exactly what the sales page boasts. If you were to put in action the claimed “secret” that he suggests, you will have achieved free Google adwords advertising (or any other pay per click service out there for that matter). I could have kicked myself for not thinking of this “secret” already. All the methods are completely LEGAL and break NO laws whatsoever. You may laugh, but I feel that soon everyone will be utilizing this “secret” method in one form or another in the very near future.

On a personal note, after actually implementing just a few of the techniques that he suggests I immediately saw a 150% increase in unique visitors to my website and my daily sales tripled that same day. I think the methods in “Get Google Adwords Free” will work for anyone with a 4th grade reading level.

Of course there is a section to where he gives you the opportunity to sell “Get Google Adwords Free”, his ebook. His firm researches that out of 46,000 people surveyed 96% said that, ‘getting Google Adwords free’ was their most sought after information.

The affiliate section of his website is the most impressive section that I have seen in years. Full of any marketing tool that you can think of to help you make money easily. I think he has certainly gone to great lengths to ensure his readers’ success.

I do feel like he could have gotten his point across without a huge hyped up sales page, but I guess I would not have given “Get Google Adwords Free” a second thought if it had not gotten my attention with such huge claims.

All things aside I did learn techniques that I did not know before, and I have been using Google Adwords for some time now. I personally feel that upon reading “Get Google Adwords Free” you will be one more step closer to success than you were before reading it. Even an advanced Google Adwords guru can come away with something I’m sure.

My honest recommendation would be to give it a read, as it comes with a “money back guarantee” anyway, you would have nothing to loose. I personally will be keeping my copy of “Get Google Adwords Free” to save it with my other useful ebooks.

Making money with Google Adwords sounds great. Many gurus will tell you their success stories how they easily make a ton of money using Google Adwords. There are many stories sound like this… “just throw up a few ads with keywords and money will be flowing to your bank account”. All these stories are nonsense! They are designed to get you buy their latest rehashed stuffs.

What the gurus are NOT telling you is that Google Adwords is a double-edged sword. If you play the game right, you will make money otherwise you will lose money. Many people learned the hard way and realized that it’s not as easy as it seems to be. Many who jumped into the pay-per-click game get slapped with reality. They barely break even and actually lose money.

Without a doubt, Google Adwords is a great income-generating source, the KING of online advertising. Currently there are 3 major pay-per-click advertising systems that control the market. They are MSN, Yahoo and Google. But Google are the dominating and driving force, they control more than 50% of the pay-per-click market. While Yahoo and MSN get around 26% and 11% respectively. And the rest of the pies are shared by smaller search engines such as Miva, Enhance, Ask, etc..

Now, the question is how can we make money with Google Adwords without losing our shirt? What are the right skills needed to make money with Google Adwords? The answer is in this power packed 105 pages adwords definitive google guide called “Beating Adwords“. This definitive guide will teach you everything you need to know about making money with Google Adwords. From starting a new campaign, writing effective adcopy, outsmarting the competition to landing page optimization. The objective here is to teach you the skills to beat the system.

What set this adwords definitive google guide apart from others is the up-to-date information. As you know the Google Adwords system is changing all the time. The guide you bought last month may have been obsoleted. For example, the latest change is called the “Google SLAP”. Google is cracking down those ads that have low relevancy or Quality Score. Many advertisers got slapped hard by the change. It’s easy to determine if you’ve been affected by the SLAP because you will find that your minimum CPC jumps up to an absurd amount like $10 per click.

Inside this “adwords definitive google guide“, you will learn the techniques to avoid the Google SLAP. You can literally use the techniques to slap back at Google. This guide is now in version 4.0. Users only need to purchase once and get a lifetime update.

Most businesses want a cost-effective way to bring in more customers. The challenge is to find prospects who are thinking about your products at the exact time that you reach them.

With Google AdWords, it is possible to target prospects at the very moment they are thinking about buying your products or services. Most of you know how it works: If someone does a Google search on digital cameras, for example, she sees ads for digital cameras. If someone does a search on organically grown coffee beans, he sees ads for organically grown coffee. Google AdWords enables you to implement precisely targeted advertising.

Here’s how to maximize your success with Google AdWords. With proper preparation and execution, starting Google AdWords can be like planting a money tree that will provide your business with a steady stream of revenue.

What Is Google AdWords?

Open up a Web browser and go to the Google Web site. Type in the search term coffee and click search.

Essentially, two types of search results come up: on the left and below are the organic search results that no one has sponsored. On the right side of your browser window and sometimes above the organic results are the Sponsored Links. The Sponsored Links are paid advertisements—they are always identified as such by the heading Sponsored Links.

As participants in this automated auction, each of these advertisers is bidding for the keyword coffee. They pay only if someone is interested enough to click on the advertisement; if nobody clicks on the ad, the cost is zero. The higher the advertiser bids on a keyword, the higher in the rankings the ad appears and the more likely Web searchers will see it. Ranking means visibility, though you do not have to be at the top of the rankings or bid the highest amount for prospects to see your ad and click on it. Your goal is to get the lowest cost per click (CPC) and the highest quality clicks (sales and leads) for your budget.

Finding Your Niche

Sometimes with popular keywords (like coffee), there are many companies competing. On the other hand, popular keywords get millions of searches, so there might be enough clicks to go around.

The only way to find out if a particular keyword will work for you is to try it. The problem is that many other advertisers are bidding for the popular keywords, so your CPC is likely to be high. You are more likely to get a low CPC with more obscure, highly targeted keywords. It will take some thought to come up with the right keywords.

Our coffee roaster would probably want to try the keyword coffee, and watch it like a hawk as it could result in many low-quality clicks (not many conversions to leads or sales). If a keyword does not produce high-quality clicks after a reasonable trial period (a couple of weeks), then remove it; it may even be obvious sooner that a keyword is costing money but not producing results.

Perhaps our coffee roaster sells shade-grown coffee that protects Central American songbird habitat. While far fewer people are searching for shade-grown coffee than just coffee, it is likely to yield a lower CPC and higher quality clicks.

Do some brainstorming and write down an initial list of keywords that match your market niche. This process of finding targeted keywords will be a useful exercise to help you focus your campaigns and maximize your return on investment.

Getting Started

The first thing you need to get started with AdWords is a goal. Is your goal to make direct sales via e-commerce on your Web site? Is your goal to capture sales leads that you can follow-up with and make the sale? Alternatively, is your goal a combination of both? Once you have determined a goal, you need a Web site that helps you achieve that goal.

Your site should be eye-catching and well-organized and should include landing pages for your products or services. To see some examples of landing pages, do a search for your services, and look at what other companies in your market are doing.

The landing page can be your homepage if your site tightly focuses on one product or service you are advertising (e.g., this permission-based email marketing site). Otherwise, the landing page should be within your larger site and should focus on the specific product or service you are advertising.

If you are selling directly from your Web site, it should include a secure e-commerce system. Any good, technically competent Web design firm can set this up for you.

If you want sales leads, then your site should include a call to action to persuade people to request more information. The way they submit a lead is to click on a link to a lead-capture form. You need a form that at a minimum sends you—or the appropriate sales staff—an email, but ideally it should also create a lead for you in a customer relationship management (CRM) system such as SalesForce or SugarCRM.

Whether you are selling directly from your site or capturing leads, your site should always have obvious ways to contact you using whatever method the prospect feels most comfortable using: a contact form, email, or telephone. Some company sites make it hard to figure out how to contact them for more information.

It is important to have a number of people—both inside and outside of your company—test your Web site for usability and ease of use. Prospects should never have to wonder how to buy from you or how to contact you to ask a question about your products or services.

Signing up for Google AdWords

Once you have a goal, Web site, and landing page, you are ready to sign up for Google AdWords. Learn by doing. It is easier to write the advertisement and select keywords using the tools that Google provides during the sign up process.

If you plan to spend at least $30/day on AdWords, Google offers a JumpStart program to help you get started using AdWords. Google JumpStart specialists will help you create a campaign. The cost of the program is $299, but Google will apply that as a credit toward the cost of your initial clicks.

Campaigns and Ad Groups

The Campaign level is where you set your daily budget, language targeting, location targeting, ad distribution preferences, and the start and end dates for your campaigns (if applicable).

The Ad Group level is where enter your keywords and the advertisements themselves. Each Ad Group has one or more ads. Write at least two ads for each ad group so you can try different approaches and compare the results.

In my experience, it has been beneficial to create multiple campaigns so I can experiment with different parameters and compare the results.

Targeting

Choose the language you want to target, and then the countries or territories. This requires some thought. Can you offer your product or service globally, in just the United States, or in just your city or region? You can target your campaign to the world or to specific countries, regions, states, or cities.

For even more precise targeting, you can even target your campaign to a certain number of miles from your business or even an area bounded by coordinates.

Writing Your Advertisements

You have just a 25-character title to get surfers’ attention, and a 70-character ad to get people interested enough to want to click on your ad. It is not a lot of text, so make it pithy.

Write the Headline, the text of the ad, and enter the Display Link (always link to main page of your Web site), and then enter the Destination URL (your landing page). The Destination URL might be your main page or a page within your main site dedicated just to selling the product at hand.

Here’s a fictional ad example:

Headline: Shade Grown Coffee Beans

Description line 1
: Shade grown coffee. Tastes

Description line 2: better & saves valuable rainforest.

Display URL: www.goodshadegrowncoffee.com

Destination URL: www.goodshadegrowncoffee.com?&utm_id=coff1

Another example:

Headline: Shade Grown Coffee Beans

Description line 1: Coffee that tastes better and

Description line 2: protects valuable rainforest.

Display URL: www.goodshadegrowncoffee.com/

Destination URL: www.goodshadegrowncoffee.com?&utm_id=coff2

Conversion Tracking

To track the conversion rate of your campaigns—i.e., how many sales or leads you get for your investment—requires a little preparation. You will need to have your webmaster embed snippets of code to the appropriate pages on your Web site. Google explains how to set up and implement your conversion tracking code here, including example code.

Google Analytics

In the fictional advertisement examples I gave, you may have noticed codes in the destination URLs: “coff1″ and “coff2″. These are tracking codes that facilitate the tracking of a wealth of information by Google Analytics.

Google Analytics, which Google has integrated with AdWords, is a very powerful service for tracking the success of both your organic and paid search results for your site. It will help you better understand your site visitors’ experience in detail. In addition, you can learn what keywords bring in the best prospects, and which of your campaigns are delivering the best return on investment. You can use Google Analytics to track marketing campaigns other than AdWords as well.

Google Analytics is too big a topic to cover much here, but I will devote a future article entirely to this powerful marketing tracking service.

Choosing Your Keywords

As I mentioned earlier, it is important to pick good keywords. Initially, choose both general keywords and narrowly targeted keywords, and carefully evaluate the results. Keep keywords that are getting you results, and remove keywords that are not working for you. You will probably need to run your campaigns for a while before you will have enough information to determine which keywords are succeeding for you.

In the keyword space provided in the setup process, list the keywords or keyword phrases you would like to use. Because people tend to type fast when they search the web, be sure to include common misspellings of your keywords. Here are some example keywords that our fictional coffee roaster might use:

* coffee
* coffe
* shade grown coffee
* shade grown coffe
* shade grown
* shade coffee
* coffee shade grown
* shade grown coffee migratory birds
* benefits of shade grown coffee
* gourmet coffee
* gourmet coffee beans
* gourmet coffees
* coffee beans
* gourmet coffee beans
* organic coffee
* organic coffee beans
* certified organic coffee
* coffee beans organic
* mail order organic coffee
* bulk coffee

To get more keywords, enter a keyword into the Keyword Tool Box and click on Get More Keywords. This will generate additional keywords, some of which will be relevant to you and some of which will not be relevant. Keep the relevant keywords and toss the rest.

Now, you have a good starting list. Later, you will want to add new keywords and remove non-performing keywords. A good keyword is one that yields conversions: customers or good leads.

Google Search vs. Google Content Network

Google AdWords can place your add in essentially two places: Google search and the content network. Google search are results from searches that prospective customers do directly using www.google.com. The content network consists of Google partner sites and sites that run advertisements through Google’s AdSense program.

In my experience, Google search has yielded much more quality clicks than the content network. The content network is worth trying, but I recommend putting it into a separate campaign so you can measure its results against your Google search campaign.

The content network is opt-out, and it is not possible to opt out during the setup process. However, to opt out of the content network for a specific campaign, you can go back to campaign settings and uncheck the checkbox for content network.

Then setup a separate campaign where you focus on the content network and opt out of the search network. Compare the results between the two campaigns. It is possible that you will find Google search is more productive than the content network, but of course your results may be different from mine.

If you want to keep it simple until you are more comfortable with AdWords, I recommend starting with just the search network. Then come back in a few weeks and set up a separate campaign to try the content network, then compare the results with what you are getting with the search network.

Your Daily Budget

Your daily budget for your campaign is the ceiling on your daily spending. You can set this number at whatever you want. It is a good idea to start out with a relatively low daily budget while you refine your AdWords effectiveness. As your ad campaigns succeed and bring you more business, you will likely want to increase your budget.

Start with a daily budget of about $10-$15 per day and gradually increase that amount as you fine-tune your approach.

Your Bid

In addition to your daily budget, you will need to set a maximum bid that you are willing to pay as a cost per click (CPC). This requires some trial and error to get right. Being the highest bidder is not really what that you want. Instead, you want to get the most quality clicks you can for your budget. If you bid too high, your CPC will be too high and will eat up your budget too fast; if you bid to low you will not get enough clicks and hence enough sales.

You might try starting with a bid of $2.50, and see what happens for a day or two. Then gradually raise or lower the bid, depending on results. If clicks consume your daily budget in a couple of hours, then lower your bid. If the advertisements are not getting many clicks, then raise your bid. Continue this process until you find the optimal bid.

Leads and Sales

What if visitors are clicking on your ad but are not buying or contacting you? That likely means your ad is working but your site or landing page is not persuading prospective customers to take the next step. It can also mean that your product or service needs some work to become more competitive. Compare what you are offering to what your competitors are offering.

The simplest things can make a dramatic difference. When your landing page is not getting you conversions, change one thing and see what happens over the next day or two. That way, you can determine which changes work. Do not be afraid to try possible solutions, knowing that some changes will fail and some will work well.

Recently, one of our landing pages was not getting enough conversions, so I made some minor changes to the wording on the page and conversions started going up the next day. On another page, we replaced our very simple order form with a much more elaborate version. Our sales for that service immediately plummeted. We simply changed the order form back to the simpler version and sales picked up again immediately.

Harvesting From the Money Tree

The Google AdWords money tree is now planted, optimized, and working to bring you leads and sales. What do you do now? Harvest it, of course, by solid follow-through and providing the best possible service for your clients.

Go back from time to time and take a look at your results. Make adjustments to your budget an
d bids as needed. Write another advertisement that takes a slightly different tack. Remove an ad that is not producing high quality clicks for you. Make some improvements to your Web site to see whether you can increase your conversion rate.

Practice Kaizen—a Japanese word for continuous, incremental improvement. Even if your Google AdWords money tree is providing good yields, there are always ways to improve its performance.

So pour yourself a cup of good coffee, and get started using Google AdWords today!

Each year, more and more companies use an adword campaign as their main medium when it comes to advertising over the Internet.

An adword campaign is an easy, cheap yet effective way to market a company’s products and services.

At the same time, it offers better results as the campaign is geared towards keyword density while aiming directly for a specific market.

With regular print and broadcast advertising, you have to think of ways for the ad to directly hit your target market.

With an adwords campaign, you do not have to spend much effort since the medium itself is hitting your audience right where you want them to be hit: which is by clicking on a direct link to your web site once a keyword is typed into a search engine.

With popular search engines such as Google offering a fairly reasonable amount for keyword hits, both small and big companies are turning to adword campaigns for their advertising needs.

The problem is, since adword campaigning has gained popularity, there lies a challenge to bid for the top spot.

The competition has become fierce when it comes to emerging on the top three positions on the list once a keyword is entered.

Unless you want to be at the end of a search list, you need to come up with a straightforward and effective Google adword campaign.

At the end of the day, you would want to see the results of the adword campaign so here are some helpful tips on how you can emerge victorious against these challenges:

1. Create a Google adwords campaign and use it effectively.

Offering adword campaign services is Google’s main cup of tea, and they will profit from you whether your company earns from these campaigns or not.

You would not want to just give your money to Google without gaining any results so the key here is to use the tools that they offer to your advantage.

Once a web surfer types in a keyword on Google and clicks Search, there are ‘Sponsored Links’ displayed and with each click, the advertiser needs to pay Google.

If you are an advertiser and you decide to use Google’s adword campaign, study their guidelines and use the tracking tools that they offer to know which keywords get the most hits or matches.

Then, you can revise your campaign so that it will be more applicable to address a specific market.

2. Use the tools to target your audience.

Setting up an account in Google adwords would require you to key in the languages and location that you prefer.

This is very important because if you do not set this up properly, then your products and services might be offered to a region or country wherein you do in not currently operate.

Thus, you would gain you more advertising costs which would not yield any results if you are not properly addressing your target market.

If you have clients in a bilingual region or if you operate in another country, choose the languages used in that location.

This Google feature gives you more control when it comes to targeting a specific audience.

3. Compose and design your ad.

In creating your adwords campaign, make sure that you have a clear understanding of Google’s guidelines. You would like users to click on your ad if they find it interesting enough.

Of course, your web site will only be linked to related keywords so it is vital to focus on that as well.

When composing an ad, make it brief, informative and attention-grabbing all at the same time.

Bear in mind that it does not necessarily mean that once a visitor goes to your web site, they will stay there for a long time.

Your web site should be designed to convince people to take advantage of the products and services that you offer before they leave.

Otherwise, you would have a lot of hits on your web site but end up with a lot of misses on marketing and sales opportunities.

4. Choose the correct keyword.

This is one of the most difficult parts when it comes to the adword campaign process.

Use all the resources that you have to come up with the keywords that will lead to a hit on your web site. Use lay man’s terms as much as possible.

Put yourself in the shoes of a student or a housewife surfing the Internet. Unless the user is really tech-savvy, then he or she will just use everyday words and avoid technical terms. Google features a tool where keyword suggestions are offered.

Vary your keywords from time to time as you learn which ones yield the most hits. This would also give you more results because users may enter keywords differently even when they are searching for the same topics.

By coming up with a gameplan on how you can use Google adwords to spice up your advertising campaign, then you would most likely be on top of the list once Internet users key in a word which is related to the products and services that you offer.

This would yield more profit for you and your company, without having to dole out millions in advertising campaigns through other mediums.

I like Google Adsense. It contributes a nice little chunk of
change to my income each and every month.

That said, I don’t and won’t follow the lead of those whose
sites earn only through Google Adsense.

What happens when their Adsense accounts are shut down by
Google? It does happen, and they’re left scrambling to replace
lost income!

Don’t believe me?

Try clicking on your own site’s Google Adsense links once or
twice and see how fast Google shuts down your Adsense account.
(No, don’t really do that!)

Does it make sense to build an entire site around financial
products to make a few bucks on Adsense clicks, when you can
earn up to $40 for a completed credit card application?

Not to me, it doesn’t.

I use Google Adsense to supplement my affiliate income, not
replace it.

Basically, it comes down to value. Value for you, and value for
your visitors.

Sites that monetize only with Adsense aren’t getting real value
from their site’s real estate.

Too, it’s important to me that my visitors find information of
value to them on my sites, and I do that by offering balanced
product reviews and articles on the related topic.

If after reading my material, they’re not interested in the
product offerings, then perhaps they’ll see an Adwords ad that
captures their interest.

Placing Google Adsense on your site is a strategy that will put
money in your pockets even if your visitors don’t buy.

However, in the same way you need to be smart about choosing
lucrative affiliate programs, you also want to do your homework
when monetizing topics with Adsense.

For example, I was recently re-reading some information about
under-represented niche topics with huge markets.

One of the topics suggested as a winner was ‘snakes’.

I found that hard to believe, so I did my own research.

The term ‘snakes’ had 152,857 searches at Overture and its
partners in January, so yes, that’s a pretty sizeable interest
in ‘snakes’.

OK, but who’s your market? Kids looking for snake pictures for a
school project? People who want to buy snakes? Someone who wants
to visit Snake River?

What are you going to sell? Snakes? The game, ‘Snake’? A $10
book on which you make a 15% commission? A $60 poster from
allposters.com on which you earn a 30% commission seemed to be
the best bet, but how many people want to pay $60 for snake
posters?

To me, that’s not enough interest or commission potential to
build a site around ‘snakes’.

So, what about incorporating Adsense to boost potential
profitability?

Well, search Google for ‘snakes’. See what comes up in the
Google Adwords column?

NOTHING!

If you want to monetize with Adsense, you have to pick topics
whose Adwords advertisers spend mega-bucks per click.

How do you figure out what those topics are?

Easy!

If you haven’t already done so, open up a Google Adwords account
and create a new campaign. Add a list of keywords (one niche
topic at a time), then click on ‘estimate traffic’. The
resulting page will show you the average cost per click for each
keyword.

Make note of the most expensive words in that list and optimize
your pages for those phrases.

THAT’s how you’ll really profit with Google Adsense.

Warning! Warning! Warning!

Once you find a lucrative topic that is projected to cost you
$36,987.57 per day, don’t forget to pause that campaign, or
delete it altogether!

—————————————————————–

Understanding the Google Adsense Report

When you log into your Google Adsense account, you are automatically taken to the page where you can view all your Adsense activity. On the Reports tab, you’ll see “Today’s Earnings.” This is the approximate amount you have earned today in your Google Adsense account. Earnings are not final at this point and could be adjusted for invalid clicks or fees.

It’s interesting to look at the breakdown. As you can see, Adsense for Content, which refers to the targeted ads appearing on the pages in which you have written content, is listed first. Here you will see the number of page impressions listed in the first column. While a page impression is generally the same as a page view, that is not always the case. For a more detailed definition of a page impression, see Google Adsense support, click on Your Adsense Account and then click on Your Adsense Report.

Next, you’ll notice the number of clicks. This refers to the number of times “your ads” were clicked on.

Page click through rate or CTR is in the next column shown as a percentage. It represents the percentage of the time an ad was clicked on after viewing your page.

Page eCPM which stands for effective cost per thousand impressions. It is calculated by dividing total earnings by the number of page impressions in thousands.

Don’t be intimidated by these statistics. The bottom line, your earnings, is what really counts. As you become more familiar with Google Adsense, statistics will become like second nature. First, just start.

How is Google Adsense Different From Other Ad Networks?

Primarily because it is Google and that carries a lot of clout just with name recognition alone. But here are some advantages to being a part of the Google Adsense network:

Getting started is fast and easy and requires no technical knowledge. Google Adsense even provides html code for easy implementation with clear instructions.

Google Adsense has both the Adsense for Content feature and the Adsense for Search feature.

Google Adsense not only provides keyword targeted ads but site targeted ads as well, maximizing your potential for revenue.

Google Adsense provides a filter so that you can choose not to run your competitor’s ads on your pages as well as filter other unwanted ads.

Google Adsense provides an extensive support site that is easily understood.

Marketing Training – Marketing Management Courses

Here is a list of marketing tips which can be encouraged by your staff through informal marketing courses and courses:

One of the most powerful yet least used ways of increasing sales is by selling to your existing customers. Your current customers already know you have a great product and they are ready to buy. Don’t let customers forget about your company.

Email – Keep your customers on an email list. Use your email lists to send regular emails. Keep customers up to date with leading edge updates and techniques.Make use of one of the best selling tools available – the coupon. Special customers can be sent unique discount codes or promotional items. Marketing like this, can give sales a quick shot in the arm.

Add-on Sales – Use add-on sales to increase your profits. When a customer is checking out on your website usesimple e-commerce strategies to recommend an up-sell. Create add on sales for similar items. For example if a customer is making a purchase of a printer from your site use add-on selling to suggest printer cartridges or paper products. You’ll be surprised how influential this simple techniques can be. Don’t forget this highly effective marketing tool.

Keeping Customers Happy – Customers return to suppliers who offer the best service. Not only do happy customers return again and again but they also tell their friends and co-workers about your products. Word of mouth is a tried and true method of increasing sales. You can also offer your customers a special discount or offer if they refer someone to your site.

Call Your Customers – This may seem like a simple technique yet it’s very effective. Telephoning existing customers is remarkably effective at spiking your sales. Set up a schedule to call a few customers a day. Use the call to ask how they are doing and find out if they need any more of your product. Don’t treat your customers like a number. Make them feel loved and they will come back for more.
Send Mailings – Like emails, postcards are increadibly effective at nudging customers towards you. Create a simple yet effective postcard advert and post them to your current customers. Again, the postcard can include a special offer or limited discount to help make customers take action. Use deadlines or expiration dates to create a sense of urgency. If they act now they will get a discount.

Thank Your Customers – Following a sale, send them a thank you either by email or as a letter. This personal touch will help ensure happy customers and will keep your customers coming back. A simple thank you for a purchase can go a long way towards future sales.

Testimonials – Ask your customers to provide testimonials. Customers who happily offer marketing testimonials are much more likely to be repeat customers. They’ll also be very likely to tell others about your product and provide word of mouth marketing.

Referrals – Happy customers tell others about your products. Offer them special deals or discounts if they refer new customers to your site. You can also offer free products or a free report or ebook if they provide a new referral name. Your email database will grow as a result and improve your marketing. Training staff to use your database has a viral marketing effect.

Get Feedback – Ask your customers what they think. You can get them to answer a short survey after they have made a purchase. Find out how they liked your website, how they like the product and even what they would suggest to make the process better. You’ll be surprised at how helpful customers can be and you’ll be sure to get some useful information. Incorporate the best ideas to improve your business and increase sales.

Marketing Training – inhouse training courses can transform neutral staff into marketing genuises.

Question about marketting

Why do you think WWE is having such a hard time marketting John Cena to an older male crowd?
This is a serious question, so give me a serious answer

If you want to protect the valuable computer files of your business, your best options – in fact, the only guaranteed options you have – are HIPAA compliant automatic files backup and secure offsite data files storage.

For ordinary home files, you might have contented yourself in the past with a manual files backup system. A lot of people actually still do this. They save copies of their files in a CD and stash it away in a CD case or CD album. This is in turn kept in a drawer or on a shelf. Those who feel extra cautious would print out their files and keep these in folders. A few more people would take the added precaution of copying their files on to another computer, maybe a laptop or notebook to carry with them conveniently. People then feel that they have protected themselves adequately against viruses or the crashing of their hard drive. As mentioned earlier, however, this process is manual and, therefore, tedious. You have to do your manual files backup for each of your files and you have to remember to repeat the process each time you edit or update a file. If you have a lot of files, this can be very time consuming and tiring. There is also always a possibility that you may forget to do your manual files backup. If misfortune strikes just after you have forgotten your task, all is lost.

Assuming you are very obsessive about doing your manual files backup and you never forget to do it, this still does not guarantee the safety of your files. Your CDs and folders of printouts are not protected from fire, water damage or damage from natural disasters such as earthquakes. The other computers in which you have stored copies of your file could also be damaged or could be stolen. Laptops and notebooks are particularly attractive to thieves.

In lieu of manual files backup, your business deserves the protection of automatic backup software. This software may be installed in your laptops, your personal computers, your company work stations and even your company servers. Every user identifies which of his files are to be included in the automatic backup. The user also determines the automatic backup schedule and frequency. The recommended frequency is once daily and the recommended schedule is at the end of every work period so that all work done that day is safely backed up. Once set, the process is completely error-free.

Where does the automatic backup software store your backup files? It does so in secure offsite data files storage. The automatic backup software and the secure offsite data files storage often come bundled together. The automatic backup software sends your data online to a secure remote data center through secure 128-bit encryption file transfer. The remote data center has state of the art protection against all kinds of natural and man made disasters, uses uninterrupted heavy duty generator power, is equipped with biometric locks and has twenty four hour defence from professional security personnel. All the security features are HIPAA compliant and are, therefore, of the highest standards.

Your business can always access your stored automatic backup files any time and from any location as long as you have an internet connection and you have your secure password. The storage limits prescribed in each of the packages offered are flexible and your business will always have the option to upgrade for more storage space as your company expands.

The valuable computer files of your business should be protected by no less than HIPAA compliant automatic files backup and secure offsite data files storage. Only then will you really rest easy that you have done your best in protecting your company.
